Visual Ping Tool

Ok this may be the wrong place for this, but it is either networking or software.

What I am after is some kind of application that can periodically ping specific IP addresses, depending on whether there is a reply or not I would then need it to give me some kind of graphical representation. such as a red light or green light.

Does anyone know of such an application or tool?

Burble, quick question, but what do you have as your polling time interval? what would you say is a reasonable polling interval?

Am very taken with the WhatUp Professional software though, is absolutely perfect for what we need and so much more.
