Anyone had a play with this yet?

Had a few hours on it now and I just can't get used to the new solution explorer, the colours just don't stand out enough for me. When using the 2010 version I can instantly glance at the solution explorer and recognise folders, files of different types etc, however when I quickly look at the 2012 version I have to look at the icons a lot longer to work out what they represent.

I've had a play, I know the flat interface and lack of contrast has been a complaint. I'm not sure whether they are going to do anything about it though.

Are you running the Beta or the RC? They've significantly improved the UI on the RC, although I don't think it's as clear as 2010 (I like the new dark code theme though, so it's swings and roundabouts really).

I believe there putting some config option in to toggle to caps. However there's a plug-in (VS Commands) I think that gives you the option to remove the caps.

Yep was the RC release using the Dark theme, was a little clearer than the Betas but still not a patch on 2010 :(

Okay so I decided to go for Visual Studio 2012 after hearing it had Intellisense support for C++ Applications but to my suprise there's no such thing as a C++ Forms Application!

What is the point of this? Does anyone know why they removed these features, I really can't be bothered going back to VS2008 or 2010 for that matter.

Havent done programming in awhile. Think I have VS 2010 laying around somewhere but never installed it but since VS 2012 is on its way, is the forcus back to C++ or still C#?
