Visual Studio 2019 has been released

Sadly true. I tend to use Jet Brains products on Linux. They are pretty great. If you don't want then the best options are Visual Studio Code, Vim or Emacs still.
Same here. One of my criteria when choosing an IDE was it being able to run on all major OS and support a large variety of languages. So I just have to learn one IDE and whatever OS I run, and pretty much whatever language I use, I don't have to learn a new IDE. Linux support is a must for me as I've now move across to it.

Jetbrains is great. 19.1 of all of their products has just been released too :)
