vita - ps3 remote play

Is it best to do an ad hoc connection straight with the PS3 or do it over the home network?

I'll be about 8m away from the PS3 with one thin fake wall in the way. The router is about 4m away on the PS3 side of the wall. My router is a talk talk nothing special thing.

Do you mean the ps4 because there arent many games to play with the ps3 in remote play. I think you should be fine with the fake wall plus the distance is not that bad
