Guys

I have Vista 64Bit and up until last night everything was working fine , for some reason when i click to join internet explorer i get the cant connect message come up .I did insatll crysis and it happened after i did . I have now uninstalled crysis to see of this was the problem but it was stil the same .

Now funny thing is though i definatley have a connection as i have been able to dowload and update a Vista update through control panel / update centre . I have aslo been able to change the weather location in the sidebar. I definatley have a connection as when i click on Network connections under control panel it and click on view i defianaley have packets sent and recieved .

I have no errors in Device manager either and I have not played with any settings in MS Internet Explorer either.

Help please:)

I had to do something with my network connections the first time I used vista (something like auto connect network) - might be worth a check to see if this is the problem, as everything was working except the internet.

and have a little read of this and this and see if they help.

do you use nod32?

some people were getting problems where only 64bit IE will connect if an old version of nod32 is on the machine

You nick name isnt RED is it?

My friend is getting exactly the same problem as you. He too installed crysis. But his OS is saying that it is invalid despite it being genuine.

Keep me informed as to how it is going.

I have Vista 64 and crysis but not experiencing the same problems. I havent installed the latest pacthes for vista yet which came out the other day. That could be the issue.
