Vivaldi - anyone else leaving Chrome?

Chrome is far to convenient with it's multi platform sync. Until another browser comes out that I can use on my phone, tablet and PC that can automatically sync everything as well as Chrome I'm not even going to bother trying anything else.

I've gone to far down the rabbit hole.

Left Chrome as soon as Vivaldi hit alpha/beta, love it. Only thing I miss is the Google account sync. Chrome extensions working perfectly in Vivaldi.

I love the ability to group tabs and the general 'feel' of Vivaldi is snappier.

Currently using a Windows phone, and the browser on it sucks. No chance of Chrome either :(

I've been looking for an alternative to Chrome since I found how much CPU it was using when watching Twitch (a lot). The white line on the right edge when watching content full screen was also annoying.
I've just tried Vivaldi but it makes all websites look a bit fuzzy and out of focus for me. Now that I've got adblocking working in Edge I'm moving to that.

when clicking on a bookmark the web page is opened in a new tab rather than the existing tab, ive looked but cant find where to change this behaviour?

Hadn't even heard of this, but I've ended up so heavily embedded in everything google has to offer, that i'm stuck with chrome. Besides, i like the way it works.

Ugh, the last thing the world needs is more browsers.

Incorrect assessment my friend. As opposed to more browsers, what the world needs is one browser that's decent. All of the big three are woefully resource hungry, and the minors lack some of the better features of said big three.

Typically I'll be using 11-16GB RAM just for browsers, but I can't honestly say whether that's Chrome-bloat or simply the fact I'm too lazy to close windows.

Thing is, we've been shouting for google and mozilla to do something about the bloat for years. The result?

Er...More bloat, really.
