Vivian Mair

She certainly had an eye for street photography and portraiture. Saw a few articles about her a few years back.

It is very sad that she didn't capitalise on her photographs whilst she was alive, since they're a tremendous historical record and would have made her a fortune.

Just goes to show I suppose - if you ever see tons of negatives for sale at a car boot, then buy them :)

On a side note I regularly saw a little old lady in her 80's knocking around Chester, she always had a Leica film camera around her neck taking pictures - I wonder what shots she has got over the years!
