vlc fullscreen video playback on 2nd screen

Macbook is connected to my hdtv as extended desktop, i want to play a video file with the video playing full screen on the hdtv display. With quicktime this is done via options (present movie) and i can pick with display to play it full screen on. How do i do this with vlc??

drag to the screen and double click the video.

just tried it, it goes full screen mode but back on my macbook screen :s

i found it. its under video then video device, select the video device and then full screen it.
