The volume display kept popping up when I first downloaded and installed 0.9.2 but it has stopped doing that now. Apart from watching Where Eagles Dare last night and pressing space bar to pause actually slowed the video down I've had no problems.Ok, got to say - this is the worst version of the player I have ever encountered.

What is wrong for you?
What was the problem? I've always used the digital out on my motherboard with VLC into an amp and never had any problems. Mine is over coaxial not toslink, but that shouldn't make a difference.
