Seems good but i was wondering, now it plays flv better and can stream from youtube etc, how do you save or find the flv, i tried checking file instead of play locally in the stream options but it didn't work and raw dump didn't either?
The volume display kept popping up when I first downloaded and installed 0.9.2 but it has stopped doing that now. Apart from watching Where Eagles Dare last night and pressing space bar to pause actually slowed the video down I've had no problems.
What was the problem? I've always used the digital out on my motherboard with VLC into an amp and never had any problems. Mine is over coaxial not toslink, but that shouldn't make a difference.

I'm just finding that it's a lot heavier than previous versions. Also now when trying to skip to different parts of the video, the picture doesn't catch up as fast as the sound. It's very bizarre and I'm more inclined to roll back a version.
Yeah if i'm honest i'm loving it right now, lots of little things just make it better and its definitely no worse than the previous version for me...
Full screening doesn't require two windows anymore, the pop up seek bar and controls in full screen mode. The fact it seems to play and skip better than it used to and (for me anyway) doesn't seem any slower is all good in my eyes.

Everytime I selected to output the sound via optical for 5.1 it would keep breaking up, apparently it was a known fault with no workaround. Started using mpc instead which worked.
