vLite Configuration

Hi there,

I am putting Vista on my HTPC and i want to strip out all the rubbish from Vista.

I don't even need the integrated Media Center as I will be using Media Portal.

I was wondering if anyone had a vLite configuration file for this sort of thing?

I do.. somewhere. what is the orginial media? ultimate? x32 ?

As title really, bare minimum for a vista ultimate x32 install (although should still be able to apply to other versions) vlite may give you some warnings. just hit no to them.

anyway - yeah not had any problems with that. removes all the crud but leaves drivers and services.

Is there a forum with a lot of peoples configs to download? I'd like to find one thats perfect for me, since i can't be bothered to spend time tweaking my iso with vlite.

check the msfn forums

that's the home for vlite and nlite

i'd wait for the next version to come out, as the current one is pretty old, the new one should have better future compatibility for installing SP1

To be fair it dosent take more than a few minutes to make a config!
