VM Free Router.

I upgraded my speed to 20 meg on weds, and managed to haggle a free router out of them, its an Netgear WGR614V9.

The problem is that it has VM's own firmware on it, and it's outdated, so does anyone know how to flash it to the latest netgears own firmware as I have been told it can't be done as it's locked.

Any Idea's?

Cheers, will see how it goes, looks nicer then my old sitecom one, why on earth do they lock the firmware I have no idea.

Thought it might be something like that, oh well it was free and can always use it as a backup, so far so good though.
