Hi

There is a building of which one side is on road a and the other on road b. The official address is 10 road a which doesn't have VM available.

Road B does have VM but obviously the buidling is not registered to road b.

Do you have any ideas on how we can get VM fitted?

You should be able to just ring them up and tell them you have street access on road b. They might have to come and do a site survey before they agree to it which might cost you a bit but they should do it. Afterall all they care about is being able to run a cable into their duct.

Just ring them and explain, they will send a guy out and survey it, as said.

I had trouble upgrading to 50mb when it first came out in my area. Not only did they say I couldn't get it, they said I couldn't get cable at all at my address. Once I explained that not only does next door both sides have it, but I'm using it RIGHT NOW, they did some investigating and found an error on their system!

Even now it still says I can't get cable on their website though if I put my address in...

as mentioned, give them a call, i had a situation whereby my house number wasnt listed, houses either side were, Vm just had to organise a survey and a bit of work.

Dont always trust the online postcode locator. It showed the house I'm currently renting as being in a ADSL area only, yet we get 100Mb
