I'm moving house next week and the silly BT broadband checker tells me I can get up to 1Mbit ADSL.
This doesn't inspire me with warm happy feelings so I've been looking at my only other alternative, Virgin Media. I still haven't decided which package I'll go for, likely broadband only as I'm in the middle of a Sky contract for telly.
What I need to know is what hardware VM are supplying these days? I have a few bits of hardware round the house networked by Powerline, so wireless isn't a requirement.
Do they supply a modem or a multiport router?
