VM war eand Linux

Im using VMware server 1.0.0.
Iv got 2 virtial machines running, my main OS is windows XP pro, the two virtial machines are suse 10.1 and ubuntu 6.

Why icant i install my 6800Gt gpu nor my sound.

Any suggestions?

do you mean why can't you install drivers for your real hardware into your virtual environments?

because the virtual PC's running in each session don't have 6800gt or equivalent real soundcard, they have emulated generic sound and video hardware.
