VM Ware Workstation - Server 08 image - Reset Password

Hello guys,

Just wondered if anyone has ever been able to boot off a CD in a VM (IE Hirens) to reset a Win Password.

I set up my VM last week but for some reason find myself unable to remember my own password.

Off to DL Hirens ISO anyhew'

Hirens loaded but wasnt able to reset the password,
Could that be down to it looking in the SAM for the Local PW and not the Domain?
