Brilliant bit of software. No drivers for my HP scanner in W7, but got it working in virtual XP. 
I'll do same for my printer. Btw, no need to create a shared files folder in VM as I believe you have to in virtualbox. There's a box to tick in VM enabling drag n drop and copy n paste back and forth to any folder in W7 and virtual XP.
