I just had a BSOD for the first time in ages whilst watching a BluRay movie in MPC-HC. No drivers have been changed for probably 2 years.
The BSOD was a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and WinDbg indicated it originated from dwm.exe (which is basically Aero Glass/Desktop Compositor) and dxgkrnl.sys (the DirectX kernel driver).
Now I seem to recall seeing some very minor graphical glitching recently in one game that I play quite often (LFS, Live for Speed, a racing sim). So I thought maybe my graphics card is on its way out.
I heard about a GPU memory testing tool called VMT. The first pass went fine. But on the second pass, it found 2 errors.
What do you guys think? Time for a new graphics card?
