Vmware- Allow remote to virtual machine whilst using host?

Hello all, is it possible to give a friend access to a virtual machine I have(remote desktop style)(OSX if that makes any difference), whilst I continue to use the host OS?

I am defiantly using the wrong search terms as an answer must be out there but I cant find it :(

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
 
This is where it gets tricky if you are not up to speed with security and access on networks.

Basically you need to port forward on router to the ip address of the virtual machine and ensure all firewalls and security is allowed on port 3389 then they should be able to RDP onto that Virtual Machine.

Complicated if you are new to it.

RDP > Virtual PC
 
So essentially the same as running a normal remote desktop on a non virtual windows os? But replacing the hosts IP for the virtual machines IP?

Edit: Just clocked the link. Thank you so much. I was expecting some obscure thing was under the impression that windows RDP to a virtual osx wouldn't work. (off to give this a go).
