VMware alternative for Vista x64 host machine

just found out it won't work for vista x64 due to the crappy driver signing enforcement (without f8'ing every reboot)

just need something simple, to run a few virtual machines for trying out diffrent linux distros and alternative os's

you can turn it off but vmware v2 still doesnt create disk images for me.

Hijacking the topic slightly but I've seen lots of people mention enforced driver signing with 64bit Vista, but I've never noticed it myself (OEM Home Premium x64 edition). Under what circumstances is it enforced?

yes i've just downloaded virtualbox and seems to be running great, for some stupid reason i had convinced myself this was linux only

mostly any free 'indie' software and third-party stuff which doesnt fully support software, ati-tray tools, certain firewalls, etc
