Hi all..
I'm trying to install VMware server 1.0.0.2 onto a FC5 server.. I've done this several times before on linux machines but for some reason this is giving me problems..
I've installed the Kernel Devel files (by doing a "yum install kernel-devel") but when trying to build the VMware I get the message:
I assume that the smp is causing the problem, but I can't find how to remove the smp kernel or how to download and install the smp kernel source.
Any help appreciated.

The directory of kernel headers (version 2.6.20-1.2312.fc5) does not match your running kernel (version 2.6.20-1.2312.fc5smp). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.
I assume that the smp is causing the problem, but I can't find how to remove the smp kernel or how to download and install the smp kernel source.
Any help appreciated.
