VMware TOE Cards

Hi Chaps,

I've got a question on VMware about TOE cards.

How much of a difference are would using a TOE card be over a just a nomal NIC?

My recollection is basically nothing, you need to be running something crazy to see any benefit from TOE cards, a really busy database maybe, I can't see it would help at all with VMware...

None, the server would need to be at 90% cpu all the time to see any benefit from the offloading.
