I'l explain my situation. I basically live in a small 1 bedroom flat without room for a desktop pc, desk and chair. I'be thought about having a high spec desktop machine, for encoding video, using photo shop and the like accessible via vnc from my laptop. How practical would such a solution be? Just looking for opionions's here before I choose to invest in one.
