Vnc connection problem

Does anyone here use the vnc app to connect their iPhone to their windows computer and remotely operate pc ?
I've got the connection setup no probs, except it just keeps saying connecting to my computer and nothing happens,
Can anyone offer me any pointers on why it's not connecting ?

What vnc server are you running on the windows machine(s) ?

Free edition 4.1.3

i can get to vnc negotiation, then it just keeps negotiating

or i get so far and error message
" cannot find NETBIOS name gavin-pc on the local net"

Not used that prog before, all i use is Ultra VNC: www.uvnc.com

Never had any probs with it. Maybe give it a whirl and see if you still get the same issues.
