Behind you... Naked!
I am using VNC to get my PCs to talk, and I am happy as I can be, but whenever I connect to the remote PC, the dialog box comes up about registering. etc.

Now, am using the free version, but it says that I can use up to 5 PCs on the one licence, but even so, I have tried using the one licence and I have also tried using differnce licences too!

There are also options of course and I have been through all of tehse Im sure, so in order to make it completely invisible, do I need to pay for it? If I pay fopr it, will it get rid of this dialog box?

If anyone has anythign to offer, then I will be greatful. Thanks.

RealVNC -Yes I am.

TightVNC or ultraVNC?
Ok, not heard of these thank you.

RCD - Yes, I have been sort of toying with various.

I want to do 2 things

1 - I need to have total control of a PC
2 - I also need to keep an eye on my kids PCs without them knowing.

And the second part of part 2 is VITAL - WITHOUT THEM KNOWING.

I also need to have ZERO entry from the remote system, so I have absolute 100% control from this end.

Yes, they are on the very same network, no subnets or anything...

xrdp? - I did mess with this not that long ago on my Linux Laptop, but I didnt get that far. Admittedly, I didnt really need to do it, more than it was somethign that I sort of fiddled with for a while and just gave up on.

The basics seemed simple enough... apt install xrdp add a port to a group, start the program add a name add the name to teh sudo list etc ect etc

But the issue with remote desktops is that I need to be at both setups and thats not what I wanted... I could happily use Team Viewer for that... And I have done so.

Actually, I might look into XRDP again now... I rememebr more than I thought so might me a laugh.

I will look at tight and ultra for sure though... Thank you very much for those.
