VNC - View Primary Monitor Only

Ok what am I missing here. I'm using RealVNC connecting to a machine with multiple monitors - any idea how to configure the client so I only get the primary monitor only? Apologies if it's a simple question, just can't seem to work it out through my morphine muddled thoughts.

there should be a monitor select at the top in the menu options
