vob files on ipad?

I'm trying to stick a few films on my mrs ipad for my son to watch on holiday.

I have avplayerHD on my ipad so I can play most things. My issue is I rip one of his dvds using shrink or clone and they are in VOB format. This breaks a dvd down to 4 or so vob files even using shrinks compression.

I can drag that into av player but it's then in 4 separate files.

Any better way to do this and have the file play as one film?

Rip them with Handbrake, then they go straight to iPad native format :>

Ah right so I don't need to rip with clone then convert with Handbrake?

Also does it do episodic ok as well?

Handbrake does it all for you
