Iv tried adjusting my equalisers, tried doing every thing but the vocals have been cancelled out! I cant undertsand whats happened, it was fine the other day!
Voice cancellation mode isnt selected either! Its annoying! It sounds like everything is in karoke mode! The more i fiddle with it the worst it gets!

Any suggestions?

Well Im using itunes but the equaliser settings are for my ac97 audio configuration, i must have done something to make vocals go down! I do music tech at collerge so I must kno what to do but i cant think! (copius amounts of jd doesnt help either :p )

There is a voice cancellation checkbox that you have inadvertantly checked in the EQ bit. Find that, uncheck it and all will be right :)

Yeah the voice cancellation option isnt on, Ive checked that! So possibly a cable might have come loose? I'll have a check? Its doing my nut I feel like Im in a kareoke bar!!

oops sorry, Im using a pc, using 5.1 speakers. I dont have a proper sound card. I went to look at the cables on the sub and one was abit loose, so I think its improved slightly! Although the vocals are still drowned out by the instruments

I get this on my laptop, and its due to the sound jack, it would be worth trying the sound jacks at the back of the pc, and on the sub, and also try turning up the volume from the pc, if you can.

hmm well iv had a fiddle with all the jacks on the pc, subwoofer, there could be a possibility ones broken, even though they are all connected still.

In some songs it sounds as if im streaming them, the qualities dropped! aargh i love my music! I cant wait to get my new soundcard, i think new speakers will be on the menu too!

Yep, thats what happens here too, its annoying, even worse when watching a dvd, you can hear the sound effects etc, just not what they're saying. New laptop time tbh.
