Vodafone Broadband & Ubiquiti?

Hi

Vodafone have a rather sweet 18 month deal at the moment.

I know VF force you to use their router, but I just wanted to check - there will be no issue in using my ubiquiti equipment with the WF router/ modem in any way will there?

I'm fairly certain that Vodafone have relaxed that rule now.

You don't need their kit at all anymore, just go on live chat and ask for your broadband user/pass for PPPoE

There have been a couple of threads on here and on the UBNT forums where people have successfully used the USG with a Vigor 130 Modem to connect to Vodafone. So it is definitely possible.

You haven't had to use Vodafone's own router for about 5 months now. You get no support with anything but their router, so if you claim connectivity issues, drop-out, slow speeds etc they will want you to test with their equipment before they do anything, but getting the username/password is a simple phone call or live chat away.
