any ideas usually its a no no to get delivery reports for iphone but as next month vodafone should be supplying them i guess the option will be there,, or is it out alrady
It seems i was wrong, you can get delivery reports on the iPhone always could.
The only bad thing is it's a very ugly way of doing it...
What you have to do it put a code and then your text
UK Mobile Networks O2 prefix *0#
Orange prefix RCT
T Mobile prefix *0#
Orange prefox RCT
Vodafone – No code exists for Vodafone
Virgin prefix *0#
So if you was on O2 your message would read *0# Hi mate hows it going.
You would then get a delivery report, seems a pretty big annoyance to be to be honest, no code for vodaphone yet, but im guessing thats because they have not released it yet?
i meant from reading on other forums you input a code before ie *0# for 02 etc tmobile orange all have codes to input and so do vodafone on other countries so it "can" be a network and im sure itll be one adressed now there going to supply it.
i just wondered if the code was already out etc ??
lol. Well to be honest i wouldn't like to do it that way. And unfortunatly we are not aloud to discuss jailbreaking the iPhone here, but im sure you can find out how to do that yourself and get yourself iPhoneDelivery. This will add a *message sent* after your text as a delivery report.
Infact ive just got it lol. So thankyou for this topic else i wouldnt have thought about them lol
Quick questin, what exactly is the point of a delivery report? I used to have them turned on but they were just a nuisance. The chances of a message not arriving are so slim surely?
