The Vodafone outgoing servers ('send.vodafone.net' outgoing server and also the 'smtp.vodafone.net') have been down recently, which would have prevented you sending email. This now appears to be resolved (on my own handset), but if you're still having trouble then you could get in touch with Vodafone by email (via the 'contact us' field on www.vodafone.co.uk) The fault reference number you'd need to quote would be: 538723642
I work for Vodafone, so I do know of this problem. Vodafone were experiencing problems with there outgoing mail servers, which should now be resolved. If you are still experiencing problems, if you go to www.vodafone.co.uk, then contact us, you can email us directly. If you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it will get routed to someone who can help
