Switching fibre provider to Sky and would like to keep my current setup as the Power Hub from VF has USB ports and two telephone ports which I use. I think Sky uses MER authentication but couldn't find that option in the Power Hub (unless it is under a different name). I am sure I will be able to get IPv4 etc from the Sky router. Has anyone tried this?

In addition to confirming the above, it’s DHCP 60/61, not MER, and Sky is the only UK ISP using it, you also breach Sky T&C’s by connecting non Sky equipment to the Sky network, and even if it could connect, the phone ports wouldn’t work either.

Unless Sky have significantly changed the Hubs, I wasn't aware they had a modem only mode? You'd normally just put the mesh system in AP m ode and let the Sky router do it's job.
