Here's an interesting one. I don't use my PAYG mobile that often (in fact I hate the bloody things as a scourge of modern society). Was away on a course at the beginning of last week so charged it up at which point I received a text from Vodaphone asking if I was still using the service. I didn't reply as I knew I was going to be using the phone (thus confirming the line still in use) and had purchased a top-up.
Now here's the thing. Day 2 of the course I checked my calling credit and it had not gone down, despite using about 15 mins worth the day before. Used it several times that day and the balance still showed 3 mins and £xx.xx the same as first thing in the morning.
Anyone else encountered this? Is there some offer on useage at the moment or has my account gone into a kind of limbo where the line is still available but not being charged (and will they eventually disconnect it)?
