I have an Alienware M17x which has built in mic / sound card.
Since upgrading from windows 8 to windows 10 I am getting loop back / feedback when using mumble / Team speak, so I can instantly hear myself back through the speakers and that then causes a horrendous feedback loop which sounds like some horrible noise from the twilight zone.
I cant for the life of me work out how to stop this.
In Windows recording devices the "Listen to this device" is unticked.
It also happens when I am using the test system in the Soundblaster Recon3Di program so I am sure it must be to do with some windows settings rather than in the actual comms programs.
I thought the "Listen to this device" tick box was the only thing that would cause this but obviously not and now I am at a total loss.
Anyone able to help?
Thanks
