Does such a PDA exist that has voice recognition capability? ie. I could talk into as I walk about and it types it up. Or any other hand held device.

Cheers :)

edit* on 2nd thoughts not sure if this is the right section to post in... mods?

Any pda with a mic can do this.

Could you give an example of a product?

Do you need it to do it in real time ?
I use my PDA to do the voice recording and then NaturallySpeaking on my PC to do the recognition.

Worked well for over 6 years now

No I don't need real time, but something that has a fast turn around when back at the office. Is this method fairly accurate? ...and is it just a file that you upload to your PC into the NaturallySpeaking software?

Basically I have people needing to inspect buildings. So lots of walking around, and would like them to be able to have some small light weight device, that would enable them to produce reports. I was thinking voice recognition, as something like a tablet would be a bit fiddley... or would it?

Any ideas people? Oh and cost is fairly important! ;)

Could someone give me an example of a PDA that would be suitable? I just need a starting point, as I have no clue about PDA's yet.
