Voices with digital voice recorders

I have not made any new recordings,but i want others to try this.just place a recorder down somewhere quite, then in wav editing program look for the big spikes, theres no need to listento hours and hours of recordings as people have lifes etc,just spend 5 to 10 mins looking for a spike from nothing.
I am sort of scared to place the recorder down where i caught the "supprise" beiing said, because it was the moment i opened the airing room cubboard door i caught it,i let other people go in there to press buttons on the water heating boiler when its running cold, but its a really creepy feeling, i might even place the recorder in the loft instead.

Does it have to be to be this recorder? I can set a camera to record for 10-15 mins. Or this is one extra sensitive?
From my extensive research into evp and rsp any decent device will do.

It depends if it 'flew' off and did a double somersault or it fell off.
I was in our hospital notes room last week and a set of patients notes fell off the shelf and it just so happened it was an RIP patient
Did I think it was her ghost? Of course not, it was simply not put in place correctly.
If it had fell out with a somersault then the toilet is next door.
That is a creepy story, my mum used to be a nurse and she said she followed a figure that looked like a doctor in to a dead end,if i ever need to go to hospital and i have to stay over night i will be recording there.
The recorder i used before the olympus i did not catch anything,so olymmpus is a good brand in my eyes to pickup ultra low frequences, i paid about 34.99 which has proved its worth to me

The problem with low quality recorders, as always, is that they pick up the sounds of their electronics whirring. These sounds are often mistaken for voices or ghostly activity.

I have one of these and left it running in an empty bedroom upstairs the other day. On returning home from work and playing it I could clearly hear moaning and the occasional cry. There were two voices one male and one female. My wife was home alone all day and heard absolutely nothing. It's left me completely baffled...
Ah, thats a shame.
I have set up a microphone once to record for any activity. I left it overnight while I slept as that is when the spirit activity is high in my house.
Upon listening to the recording the very next day I could hear some really weird noises, but it was very quiet and I couldn't amplify it without distorting it.
I sent it to a team of experts who I found online who specialise in audio, and they charged me £200 to make the audio audible at a high volume - which is a wonderful price to pay to be able to hear some the spirits that live with me.
The spirit must have been sleeping though, because in the recording all I hear was snoring. Strange.
