VOIP adapter for DECT phones - Skype

Hi,
I am after a adapter for a standard BT DECT phone to connect to my LAN for use with SKYPE. I have looked at this one for about £40 Sipura SPA-2002. Is it any good? Any recommendations?

Well this won't work with SkyPE for a start.

The adaptor you have looked at supports SIP (I think not certain).

SkyPE use a propriatory system and there are very few solutions which do not require a PC connected (if any)

Thanks for the info, didn't know that.

If I buy a standard USB adapter can I leave it plugged into my USB hub and switch the PC off or must the PC be on all the time?

The PC will need to be on as all the USB hardware does is interface with the software which connects to the SkyPE servers
