A what?

You mean something like an ATA (takes an analogue phone and has an ethernet connection, lets you use it as a VoIP phone)?

im not sure what they are called i think ata adaptor.

something like fxo/fxs inputs

basically i want my analogue telephone line to be hooked up as well as digital voip.

i have a sipgate account. which gave me a free tel number. what i am aiming for is sipgate to be used for incoming calls and use a different voip provider for outgoing calls.

any guidance would be great
