Hi Guys,
Looking for a little advice. We are moving in a new office block in a few months and i have been looking at away to reduce our call costs etc.
I have been looking a VOIP phones, but theres so many different configurations etc i am totally lost. I dont want to bring in another company to do it would rather do it as cheap as possible.
So basically I have been looking at cloud based VOIP systems but not sure what to look at. I need at the moment 4 phones, possibly with the option of remote access via an Iphone or android app, Internal calling uisng extentions. They abaility to make more than 2 out going calls at any one time with no lag over the calls. Would prefer an option via Wifi and ethernet phones. I have been looking at the ubnt as I am using there AP etc not at home as well as on Projects. But where i am lost is do I need a PBX box or a carrier or a tunnel or what. So there is so many different options out there I have no idea. My main aspect is to be able to scale the system up in the future add more phones with out more BT lines. Upgradable witn minimum fuss and have the option to have a selection of wires and wifi phones on site.

any help would be great or even any companys that offer a free trial so use there systems.

I'd recommend getting in contact with DRD Communications you'll need the Qudo section (their VOIP arm) , we are a reseller for them and have small setups like your after and others going over 20 VOIP phones. They have a app that works well on smart phones that makes your mobile appear in the office (so you don't have to give your own number out)

Friendly and quick to resolve any issues and the pricing is very competitive.

If you want to trust me some contact details I can pass these on for you and get them to give you a ring to answer your questions / advise on a setup that will work for you.

How many phones do you need? dont go very cheap btw... pay a bit extra so it can be scalable

No mention of internet connectivity in your post, what does the new office have?

4 phones wont need a great connection but if you're in a shared office environment or are using an over contended service with a rubbish router you could run in to problems.

As above, numbers need quantifying to offer a proper suggestion. Big fan of 3CX here but that won't help if its 3 users

Looked at Skype for Business? We're moving to it from a Mitel based system.

This, use it where I work and have rolled it out successfully elsewhere.

Comes as part of the E3 license which includes the whole office suite and onedrive also.

Could move all of the staff to the new office, cloud backups and a phone solution?

Defo look at 3cx. The free license has 2 simultaneous calla and it has a great android/iOS app.

Yeah it's very good imo. If you NEED 3 or more concurrent calls and only have 5 total users, there's cheaper/easier solutions, but if you have 50 or so users it's a dream to manage and cost effective

Hi, Sorry for the delay, It will be for 20 users, I have been in touch with the guys recently at Newstar network for the Voip systems. They seem very cheap compared to 3cx.
Potentialy the client will could have 4-8 calls going at any one time incoming and out going.
