I'm currently with Skytalk for my home phone package (the free one), with evening calls for 5.5p per call (upto 1 hour) and daytime calls for 3p per minute. UK weekend calls are free upto an hour.
But I really want to have a go with VoIP, I'm with plusnet, so plustalk is included in my package.
I really don't want to change too much in the house, as in a phone in each room etc, and I want to be paying as little as possible for my phone, as I have very little usage. My line rental is through BT.
Can I keep my current number?
Would anyone recommend Voip?
Can I use my number at work, and does it work ok though a firewall?
