Anyone done this? Or a link to a guide maybe? I just want to hear other peoples experiences, and I might do it myself if someone can convince me(if it's not too hard)

Yeah, I've come across a few guides, but I like to have some first hand experience before I might try it :)

Any first hand experience is appreciated! :)
I'm currently at 610/1800, and would like to hit at least 650/1800, or maybe 650/1900 :D . Then I would beat a stock 7900gtx by far!

And picture from finished work would be great! Btw, I'm watercooling so max load is 45c, cooling obviously isn't a problem then ;)

I would be interested in this too. I've seen a few guides for the 256mb version but little for the 512mb. Lemme know how it goes plz ;)

I got it cheap so it would be great to beat the 7900gtx :D . But I'm not sure whether I'm going to do it or not, but as said earlier, I need to see a few guys doing it first :) . I mean, the forums are chuffed with people volt moding the 7900gts, but haven't seen the 7800gtx 512mb yet :(

Do you know if there are any bios mods/updates available for the 512mb?

Yeah, I've found a few bios mods where you're supposed to be able to increase volts, but it doesn't work(other than maybe a little fraction :p ). What may help you clock further though is loosening the memory timings :) . Other than that, doing is physical mod is probably the only solution ;)

No one here who have vmoded it? I've seen som guys over at xs though. But I've ordered all the things I need now, so hopefully I will get the parts before the weekend :D

Nice one, would love to see some pics of your work as well once you're done.

Yeah, I'll make sure to take pictures ;) . I can't wait to see how well it works(if I can pull it off), and how far I can overclock it.

I've gotten all the parts needed now, so I'll see if I can get started in not too long time. But I'm not doing it in this summer heat, it's 30c here now and even hotter inside :o
