ive currently got my go at 3.2gig priming at stock volts (vid 1.2125) but where to go from here?

never really messed with voltages before but by all acounts a safe max is around 1.4 providing the temps are ok

anyone got any usefull tips as to where to start in order to achieve 3.4 or even 3.6?

Mine`s been sat at 1.28 volts,running at 3.4Ghz for longer than i can remember.That`s on a P5Q Deluxe.:)

You should be fine upto 1.5v, good cooling really helps on the q6600, as a rough guide, my 1.2750 chip done, 3.0ghz on stock volts, jumped straight to 3.4ghz on 1.3750, 3.6ghz at 1.400, needed an almighty jump to 1.51 for 3.8ghz, chip was clocked using a p5q deluxe, also had to tinker a bit with nb, vtt and pll voltages.

exactly. been trying to get the cpu 3.3gig and higher today and i cannot get it to boot let alone be stable at anything much higher than 3.2. ive upped the ram over volage a little but i have to idea what the mch and fsb voltages are or how to use them. also i only have overvoltage controls so have no idea what a standar voltage is.
