Voltage control with a 460

I've been told these cards OC like crazy and will go even futher if you unlock the voltage control. Only thing, the tips in MSI AB dont exactly inspire confidence. Whats the risk with playing with the voltage?
 
As long as you keep it very well cooled and only increase it in small increments, you should be fine.

Make sure you don't set it too high though, as your temps will rise and you could do possible damage.
 
out of the 3 460's iv tested, all had a max voltage allowed, and this was'nt to high, so just go by what the slider shows in Afterburner, you should'nt have to boost the volts unless you are aiming for 900+ on the core. Might have to up it alittle but not a lot.
