umm yeh that does sound right

does anyone know if the 680i chipsets are reading wrong figures here as in voltage temps etc etc?
 
Vcore isn't the same as what you set, it will be slightly lower

i.e I have 1.6v set in bios but the actual vcore that you see in the monitering section is 1.56v which again drops to about 1.53 under 100% load.

Each board is different though so you will have to do your own testing to get any accurate info.
