Voltage not moving in OCCT

Hi, this is my first post so please bare with me.
I bought the Velociraptor system at the start of December and have been experiencing constant crashes in games which I originally put down to the 5870 drivers being unstable seeing all the other posts about people having similar issues. I sometimes get the vertical lines fault but most of the time the system freezes playing a small loop of sound over and over and the only way to stop it is to press the reset button. The games I have experienced it in are MW2 and CSS source, however when it happens it can range from a couple of minutes into the game to a couple of hours in both games.
Anyway getting back to my question, tonight I had yet another crash and decided to run OCCT to ensure that the system is stable, however on starting to run the test I have noticed that the voltage on Core 2 of the CPU which should be at ~3.3V is staying at 0.19V and not moving even under full load.
I thought that this may have been a new issue, but after going back to look at the logged results from when I ran it after I received the system it appears that core 2 has always been at this voltage.

So I guess my question is, could this be what has been crashing my system all along (system is fine doing anything other than gaming, furmark, 3dmark etc)? Also what are the implications of this, do I have a duff CPU or is there a quick fix to make it work again?

Since the system is under warranty I will be contacting system support at overclockers tomorrow but would appreciate any suggestions/help that anyone can offer.

Many Thanks

Ant

I'm not sure I understand that!! All cores will be at the same voltage which should certainly not be 3.3:eek:
What version of OCCT are you using? Should be 3 or 3.1
:)
PS not sure I want to "bare" with you....:o

Sorry grammar never was my strong point.

I am using version 3.1
Just under the the temperatures for the cores it has:
VCore - 1.3V
3.3V - 0.19V (this is the one that never moves)
5V - 5.05
12V - 1.6V (iddling but does go up to 12V when test is running)

I hope this explains it better.

Are you using the built in software, or Everest or something else for monitoring in OCCT? (Click Options then the orange "gear wheel" on the right, in case you didn't already know)
There's no way the 3.3V line can be at 0.19 in reality so that sounds like a software sensor error. as does the 12V line at 1.6V. Do you have the Gigabyte UD5 motherboard in that bundle? If so, Gigabyte EasyTune(which should be on the install disc) is OK for monitoring voltages (but not much else;))

Anyway, does the system pass OCCT?
:)

Just delete OCCT it's rubbish, if those voltages were correct the computer wouldn't post let alone boot.

If you want to measure voltages best place to do it is the BIOS.

Also the vertical lines seems to be a fault with the new Radeon cards.

Sorry to keep sounding so dense, built lots of PCs just never gone into the overclocking/voltage side of things.
I have installed easytune 6 but don't seem to be able to find anywhere that reports voltages other than 0.99V for core CPU & 5V.
In the bios again the only voltages I can find are 5V and VCore voltages, no sign of 3.3V.
I noted down all the setting that OCUK had for the 3.6 OC on the system and reset everything to default to see if that would help at all but still no luck. BIOS version F7

Ok I have also installed the trail version of Everest 5.2, but I don' seem to be able to find voltages recorded anywhere except the stability test. In there they are CPU core 1.22, Dimm 1.54 & 5V-5.08V.

I am running windows 7 64bit if that helps at all.

Cheers for the help so far.

I also meant to say that in F7 bios it doesn't control the CPU fan it just sets it to max, whether or not the CPU is under load, this even after setting it to use the advanced fan control.
