Have just built a new rig, spec below, and I downloaded Asus PC Probe to check temps. (as I'm having an issue getting in to BIOS) The temperature for the 3.3v reads 4.08v and PC Probe is telling me this is too much.

Does anyone know what this might be and whether it matters.

Spec:
3800+ AMD X2
Freezer Pro 64
X850 GTO16
Asus A8R-MVY mobo
2gb Geil ram
Seasonic 450w PSU.

Doh, yes I meant voltages.

The problem is I can't go to BIOS, when I press delete computer goes straight to booting windows. To get back in to BOIS after installing Windows I had to take the CMOS battery out of the motherboard for a few seconds.

I read another thread saying it could be a problem with having a PS/2 keyboard, but I'm dubious, as taking the battery out worked.

tbh, I'm at a loss as to how to solve the BIOS problem, never mind the high voltage issue :(

I don't have a multimeter. I seem to be able to get in to BIOS if I flip out the motherboard battery. Will try it tonight. I don't think my PSU is adjustable, it's bundled with :

Arctic Cooling T2 Silentium Silent Midi Tower Case - 450W Seasonic Silent PSU (CA-001-AR)

I'll report back once I've checked the +3.3v line in BIOS.
