I have overclocked to 12 x 221 = 2652 MHz
Have set core voltage to 1.3625 but in CPU-Z varies between 1.36-76 every 5 secs. ASUS probe varies between 1.36-1.38. Yet when it was at stock 1.35 it never varied:confused: Is this normal?

I tried yesterday to get more speed. Dropped memory to 166 from 200 & tried 225 & 230 but despite pushing voltage to 1.375 & 1.3825 system would either refuse to boot or if it did the Orthos Beta would fail with afte 2-5 mins with "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
2:Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file."
Can't find stress.txt file:(
Any help appreciated.

Its nothing to worry about, the core voltage wont be fluctuating like that, its just something in the sensing.

Sounds like you need some more volts, you're probably going to need another 0.05v for 2700mhz if its on the limit now, hows your cooling?

Just finished priming mine for 8 hrs @ 1.68v  http://sydney.entadsl.com/2001.JPG

Core temp show core 0 @ 47c max with stock HSF. Core 1 usually 2 or 3 C cooler. Wasn't sure how many volts it could take? I'll try it @ 1.4.

Thanks for the info.

Thing is with upping the voltage, unless you improve the cooling aswell it doesnt help as much because the extra heat it generates decreases stability.

You should be fine running it at around 1.55v, but I doubt the stock hsf will be good enough. I'd imagine you could get 2850+ out of it with good cooling on 1.55v

Thanks for that info esp about sensing I thought the CPU had a dodgy voltage control:(. I plan to see how far I can get on stock HSF before upgrading to Artic cooling 64 Pro freezer.
My ram is on 2.8v 2-3-2-6 @ 222, core volts 1.375 & stable it seems.
Don't want to push it too far as I'm away for Xmas & don't want it crashing.
