voltages how high is high

hi, ive been playing with overclocking for a while but never delved to deep always ran the ai booster on my board, ive been doing things manually recently and now have it stable at 2500 where as with ai booster i was just about getting 2350,
my real question is my vcore volatage is now at max @1.5v but my friend told me this could be to high for duel core's...
also my bios shows chipset voltage currently at 1.5v but options of 1.5/1.6
HT voltage currently 1.2v options 1.2/1.25

does it make a differnce uping those voltages?? will i get better overclocking or fry my pc!!

not so much the volts as heat that kills it.
what temps are you getting idle and under load?

ok so after falling asleep last night leaving orthos running for 8 hours when i woke up it was still running which tells me its stable!! idle is around 30c or under, underload (orthos blend & small fft)touching 55/60c this was after 8 hours.
i did try bring down the vcore voltage but soon as i run test it fails so brought back up again.
would uping the chipset and ht make any difference??
