hi guys im overclocking my e6600 chip from 2.4 ghz to 3.2 ghz by unlinking the memory from the chip in the bios settings from auto to unlinked .ive upped the voltages 10% from 1.30 to 1.35 and its worked a treat , i got my information for overclocking from a pcgamer magazine ,im completely new to this overclocking lark ! but one question would i be better off leaving the cpu voltage on AUTO setting rather than tweaking the voltage up,and also is it necessary to tweak the voltage up on the memory and cpu fsb settings as well ? all as i did to overclock it was turn up the FSB(qdr) from 1066 to 1423, is this in general all you have to do to overclock this chip ? , i ran cpuburn for 15 mins and all was well with temps of around 45 oc and idle temps of around 35 0c my system is :-
core 2 duo e6600
bfg 680 sli m/board
artic cooler freezer 7 pro
geil 2 gb mem 800 mhz
bfg 8800 gtx

i would be thankfull for your advice !

I would suggest that you don't leave the voltages on auto, as most motherobards tend to overvolt by quite a lot
