Is there an app for Android that will automatically lower the notification volume to zero when I plug my headphones in?

Reason for asking is that it is getting very annoying when I get a notification and the media player looses audio focus to the other app (email, text, Viber, BBM, whatever) and then does not restore the sound fully to the volume that I had it at prior to the focus change.

This has only been happening since my Note 2 updated to 4.3 at Christmas.

Doing some reading yesterday on the issue (only noticed it yesterday tbh) and there was mention that if you have the notifications volume at zero it stops the focus change from happening.

Would still require the phone to vibrate though so that I do not miss any texts or Viber messages.

Just tried macrodroid and it does what I want. Had to add a second macro to turn the notification sound back on after I unplug, but no biggie that one.

Just have to sit with my headphones on now and see if it works :D

Sony SmartConnect...

Been using it since I had an Xperia, Still works nicely on my Nexus 4, Goes to Silent at a specific time with the Charger plugged in, Activates my Music App (Google play Music) and turns down the notifications when I plug in my Headset/Headphones... and returns the volumes back to normal when unplugged! :D
