hi guys, just finished building my comptuer, installed all drivers from discs with parts but i get this error message when trying to enter volume control

'There are no active mixer devices available. to install mixer devises, go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, and then click add hardware

this program will now close'

any ideas?

Lol yeyy, Jamemoff got his rig built :):D Are you using the P35C-DS3R? because I'm having some driver issues with the onboard sound on mine as well, although i'm lucky as I already had a cheap Audigy soundcard that I was going to install anyway, so I've just disabled the onboard chipset within device manager.

I know Gigabyte have the drivers for pretty much all the devices on the motherboard on their website, as I was trying to download them the other day. Thing is though it's a prewtty slow download, even with the European server. If you haven't tried restarting your computer already, then I'd advice downloading the drivers off their website (if you have the patience lol). And this is all assuming you did actually go for that board lol

good luck. I'm just using the installation disk i got with mine now to see if I can find anythin to fix the problem. it's been bugging me for a while anyway. I'll let you know if I find a way to fix it
